Alex Angerstein '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Richard Angerstein, but I go by Alex, and I am a 5'9" 175 pound upcoming senior shortstop/center fielder at Sacred Heart Catholic High School in Hallettsville, Texas. While I may be a smaller guy, I make up for it in my knowledge of the game and ability to anticipate the next pitch. I also enjoy the mental side of the game, as I alluded to earlier, and would consider myself a student of the game.  I'm a team player who tries to lead by example by being one of the hardest working and smartest guys in the room.  I'm not only willing to put in extra time in the weight room, field, and classroom, but enjoy doing so as I believe the only way to get ahead of your competition is to out work them. I aspire to continue my academic and athletic careers at the college level and am looking forward to bettering myself in order to achieve this goal of mine.
