I have grown up playing multiple sports from a young age, but I have always known that baseball is the one I wanted to play at a higher level. Therefore, my collegiate goal is to be able to fulfill that dream and play college baseball. In addition, I would like to gain a good education that will help me succeed in life, as well as, make lifetime friends and memories along the way. I believe one of my unique character traits is that I have a confidence that is paired with a certain stoicism. By this, I mean that I believe in myself and my abilities without getting rattled or distracted, even if things aren't going my way. I believe this is a quality that isn't common and would make me a good candidate for your team. In athletics, I am always pushing myself to get better on the field and stronger in the weight room. Even at home, I try to do push-ups, pull-ups and band workouts to make sure I am doing all that I can to be a better athlete. Academically, my schedule is filled with advanced courses and I work hard to make sure my grades are high, even though that is hard at times during football and baseball seasons. However, I am very focused and headstrong and am always willing to do what it takes to get it done, which is another reason I believe I would be a good candidate for your program.
