Alexandrea Agustin '25 Recruiting Profile

I'm Alex Agustin and I'm a senior from Brewster New York. I have been on the Brewster High School's varsity team for two years. Being a student-athlete, I learned the significance of balance between my athletic and academic careers. That being said I am looking for a school that is able to challenge me in both areas!

I started with a gymnastics background. I have competed in the sport for eight years and I have learned some of the most crucial skills of being an athlete from the sport. I believe many of my strengths have come from gymnastics. 

I am now committed to learning the sport that is Cheerleading. With just two years of experience, I used my gymnastics training as a foundation in my cheerleading, especially with tumbling, flexibility for jumps, and the strength for stunting. I am an open-minded athlete that is able to incorporate corrections. I love the challenge of getting new skills during practice. I also strive to bring positivity to my teammates, despite any challenges, small or big along the way. While performing, I use my gymnastics background to thrive off the pressure of being in front of a crowd. My passion for the sport has also helped me earn All-League and NCA All-American titles!

I am ecstatic for the opportunity to be able to cheer on the collegiate level. I believe that being a part of a competitive team will also allow me to be a better athlete and person! I am looking forward to further continuing my academic and athletic careers for the years to come!
