Katherine Dare '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm Katherine Dare, I have been on varsity for 3 years and co-captain with two other seniors. I cheered and did gymnastics when I was little, stopped, then started back up in 8th grade. I worked really hard to teach myself new things to catch up with everyone, I was behind the girls because I wasn't able to continue doing gymnastics and cheer due to my parents divorce. But since I started cheering again it has changed me and helped me become who I am today. It has helped bring out my confidence and helped me work with my anxiety. Doing college cheer seems like it would be a big bonus. I work right after school and cheer almost everyday, so I am very determined to get the success I want in life, no matter the challenges.
