Lauren Dekorsi '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Lauren Dekorsi, I’m currently 17 years old and an Early graduate from Lakes Community High School. I will be attending the Community College, this Spring (Spring 2017) to take some college courses. I played for my high school field hockey team for the past 4 years, a starter on the JV team my second year, and a starter on the Varsity team my third year. I was the only Goalie my Senior Year. The moment  I stepped onto the field three and a half years ago, I knew that I wouldn’t want to play any other position other than goalie.  I love hockey, and deciding to join during my freshman year, is something I can’t thank myself enough for. I love the rush I get during that 1V1, or the break away, or even the strokes taken on me, it is something I can’t learn to live without. I’ve decided that I want to take my field hockey career further than just high school and leagues. College field hockey is something that I can see motivating myself to do better in the educational part of college. I'm ready to get started for the next phase of my life.
