I played soccer, softball, and lacrosse. But nothing was like like Field Hockey. When I first started playing, I knew this was a sport I loved and wanted to continue playing it.
I started playing the fall of my fifth grade year. I have played for both my middle school and high school. I played JV for my freshman and sophomore year and was pulled up to varsity for post season. I have also been playing for the ADK club team since the summer before sixth grade. My current position is a forward. I have speed and I am told I am very "coachable".
I was registered and looking forward to participating in several camps this past April prior to the start of the pandemic.
Aside from a college education, my goal is to play collegiate field hockey. I have wanted to be since a young age and continue to want to be a teacher. Currently, I am thinking a high school math teacher. And possibly even a coach. My coach is truly my mentor. She has taught me so much, not just about the game of field hockey, but especially about what it means to achieve your goals and be as good as you can be on and off the field. I am a respectful hard worker along with being a leader. I believe I would be an asset to to have on a team.
