I am a student athlete looking for a school where I can compete in field hockey and school at a high level . In the classroom and on the field I always strive to be number one no matter what it takes. I started to play field hockey in 7th grade following in my mom's footsteps after she won the state championships when she went to my high school. Although I started playing later then most I immediately fell in love with the sport. I play as the center midfielder on my high school team and I love this position because it allows me to be a large contributor to the defense and offense, connecting both ends of the field. I also am a flyer for our defensive corner unit and I love to shut down any shooter that comes my way. I love to run all around the field and help out wherever I can. I am a three sport athlete playing basketball in the winter and participating in the pentathlon for track in the spring. I believe that all these sports have helped me to improve my field hockey game and overall athletic ability. My competitiveness and drive to be number one is what pushes me to work harder then everyone around me, I am constantly working on my shot, dodges, passes and sends along with this I am always working to become faster and stronger by lifting and running. Field hockey is my passion and my love for the game and want to take it to the next level has motivated me to also go the extra mile in school as well.
