Maya O'Keefe '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maya O`Keefe, starting midfielder for Mahopac High School  Varsity field hockey.  My sophomore year was the year that I realized that I didn`t want to stop playing field hockey at the high school level.  I was named MVP by my fellow teammates and coaches which gave me that extra boost in confidence in my game. The same year, I was selected to the Nexus Regional Selection Event.  I also run track in winter and spring which has  helped me become a  tireless, quick midfielder.   I am a 4.0 GPA student  who challenges herself with  AP and honors classes. I am also a bus girl at a local Italian restaurant.  Time management is of the essence when you play in college and I know I have the skills to balance it all.
