Gabrielle Munge '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Gabrielle Munge and I am a 2022 prospect. I am from Long Island New York and I go to New Hyde Park Memorial High School. I started playing sports at a pretty young age and began field hockey in seventh grade. Little did I know it would turn out to be my  favorite sport. Since I have started playing I could not get enough of the sport. The passion that I have continues to grow as I improve my skills and become a better player. I played on junior high in seventh and eighth grade, Junior Varsity in ninth and tenth and I played on Varsity this year as a junior. In tenth grade I was captain of the Junior Varsity team. Having this experience has really taught me how to become a leader and be there for my teammates whenever they needed it. I believe that my best qualities as a field hockey player are that I am passionate and coachable. I am always looking for ways to better myself as a player and looking for corrective criticism.  I listen to feedback from my coaches and make the changes that are necessary. I am very excited to start playing in college as well as studying to become a nurse. I am a multi-sport athlete,  a 90s student and am very well balanced while managing my time between sports, school and my social life.
