Playing field hockey is what helps me through high school. When I began on the modified team for my middle school in 7th grade I had instantly found a sport that I not only enjoyed but felt like I belonged to when I played. However, we never were the very best in our division. I learned quickly at a young age that this was an opportunity to grow as a goal keeper. From then on I worked harder and trained to be the best for my team and myself. This drive to aide the team and grow as an athlete is what pushed me to want to play at a competitive college level.
When I'm looking for a college I'm searching for a program that will not only help me academically but also help me grow as a person. I am always looking for ways to improve and constantly try to help others grow as well. I am a reliable, positive and responsible player that would only add to a team. As a goalie who participates in both school and travel field hockey organizations I am capable and always working to get better. I know I will only bring positive traits and results to a college team!
