I have always been my biggest critic, pushing myself to be the best player I can be, the best leader I can be, the best community member I can be, the best teammate I can be, and the best student I can be. As I walk into the next step of my life, I want to continue to find more opportunities to push myself and strive for the highest possible goals even if sometimes that don't work out because if you never try you aren't going to get anywhere, you won't learn from the valuable experiences that are mistakes or failures. As I think about my goals for college, I think about how I can keep finding new ways to approach new challenges both as an individual and as a community member. My passion for this sport comes from both my love of the game and the skill, grit, and grace it takes to play but, also just being able to be on a team and being a part of something bigger than yourself, being able to learn to work as a unit, and also just being able to meet people who have the same love for the game as you and who you can count on.
I have been playing field hockey for about six years and I am still striving to improve my game, this sport and the people I have met through it have a special place in my heart that always yearns for more which is why I want to continue my field hockey career to the collegiate level.
