I started playing field hockey in fourth grade, but sixth grade is when I really started to love the game. Ever since then, field hockey has been a huge part of my life. I have been a part of a club team in my area since fifth grade, and I have played on my school's high school varsity team since seventh grade. My high school team is rather small and inexperienced, but the positivity and determination we continued to bring to the field led us to having a winning record and winning our conference. Being a part of my school team has given me the opportunity to be a leader on the team and to push myself even further. I have been a member of Charlotte Ambush Field Hockey Club for the entirety of my high school career. I travel almost two hours to get to every practice, but the opportunities that have come along with playing on this team have been more than worth the long drives. I have been to countless tournaments up and down the east coast and improved so much as a player as a result of joining Charlotte Ambush. My passion for field hockey has only grown, and I am very excited for the possibility of taking my skills to the collegiate level. I am looking for a school with equally challenging athletic and academic programs. My strong dedication to the game and desire to improve would make me a great addition to college programs.
