My name is Clara Leduc, I am a grade 11 student at St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School in Clinton Ontario, Canada. I will be graduating in 2024. I have a GPA of 3.8, 87% average. I am 5’3 and a midfielder for my high school team and captain in my first two years, covid-19 prevented me from playing in grade 9. Last season I scored 70% of our team goals with my high school team and my club team. I was also able to help new players develop their skills and be a supportive role model for inexperienced players. My club coach at AOS has encouraged me to work on my drag flick skills and brought a member of team Canada to teach me ways to improve this skill. I have played on one club team since age 12, AOS out of Goderich Ontario and I have recently been asked to join another club team, A and C Academy out of Waterloo Ontario. I also play U18 AA ice hockey for Saugeen Maitland Lightening. I believe my work ethic, athletic talent and teamwork would be a great match for your program.
