I am currently living in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and have been playing field hockey for 8 years. I participated in the past three Canadian National Field Hockey Championships (2018, 2017, 2016) and in 2017 was recruited to participate at the U15 Eastern Talent ID Camp. This was a definite highlight of my career! I have a 4.0 GPA (based on the NCAA-Quebec conversion scale) and am a multi-sport athlete and have earned athletic awards in volleyball, basketball, and track and field (Discus). Outside of school and sports, I enjoy doing community service in faraway places and I am currently completing my Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
It is my goal to play field hockey in college and continue to grow and improve my skills. Although I am passionate about field hockey, I value being well-rounded and am interested in a college that further develops me as a student, as an athlete and as an individual.
I am a team player who is hard working, coachable and eager to learn. I am versatile on the field as I can play any field-position, but I prefer defense. I am calm and cool under pressure. I was team captain of the Ontario East Team at the 2016 Ontario Summer Games.
Ideally, I am looking for a team that has a positive outlook and close-knit dynamics because I think a main key to success on the field comes from the team connection off the field. I am looking for a school in the Eastern United States, one that isn't too far from home, and that is a drivable distance so that my parents can continue to attend my games. I am currently interested in business and marketing.
