My goal is to be a valuable, dependable, integral leader that executes my tasks to achieve the goals set forth by the head coach, section coaches, and team. I want to represent the football program and school with the highest level of respect and professionalism. I am an honors student and will be effective in managing and balancing the rigors of being a successful collegiate student/athlete. I currently have a rigorous schedule; this is preparing me for what is required in my future college career. I have an excellent support system and have the passion to succeed academically and athletically.
I’ve been called a soldier by my coaches. I speak when spoken to, and let my actions on the field speak louder than words. I respect authority, team, and the responsibility of representing something that is greater than me. I put the work in when no one is looking, I study harder than the next guy, and I bring heart, sacrifice, physicality, and explosiveness when I play. I look forward to learning from the senior members of the team, growing as an individual player, and earning your respect. I’m not promising perfection, what I am promising is progress each and every day. I appreciate you taking a chance on me. If you do take a chance on me….I will prove you right. If you feel like you shouldn’t take a chance on me, I will prove you wrong. Your time and consideration is appreciated and respected. I look forward to learning more about yourself, your direction, the program, and the school. Carson Hartmann.
