Sports have been a huge part of my life, and greatly influenced the person that I am today. As a kid, I played baseball, basketball, and soccer, but I was never able to play pop warner football because I was always too big. This meant that I was limited to flag football, but I couldn’t wait to experience “real football” once I reached high school. Once my first high school practice came along I was hooked, and I can’t wait to build my skill level from my first year so I can reach the college level.
As much as athletics has played a part in my life, academics have influenced it too. Grades have always been important to me throughout my life, and that is not going to change. I am going to take the most challenging classes available to me throughout high school. This will help build my time management and study skills to help my college career, and future beyond that, prosper. My goal is to play football in college, and I hope to find a college that will challenge me both mentally and physically, to become the best version of myself. I know I have the work ethic, determination, and passion for both football and academics, to be an impact to the football team as well as the university.
