I am a 6'1" 205 athlete from Suwanee, GA. I am dedicated to training and improving myself and currently participate in off-season speed and strength training programs. Since I am generally a year younger than most in my grade, I believe I have huge growth potential over the next two years.
I began my varsity career in 2010 as a Sophmore at DeSoto Central High School in Southaven, Mississippi where I started as an option QB and OLB. Offensively, I was the leading rusher averaging 6.96 yds per carry. Defensively, I averaged 4.5 tackles and 2 assists per game. I was the leading tackler through 6 games despite being constrained to offense only after the 4th game. I was a two-time recipient of the Air Force player of the game, garnered All-County Honorable Mention and received the "Old Spice" Player of the Year Award.
I currently attend Peachtree Ridge High School after moving to Georgie in May of 2011. As a Junior transfer, I earned a starting spot at DE, played on all special teams and backed up all LB positions. As a senior, i started at DE and OLB and played some FB, was a team Captain and was named a Gwinnett County Player of the Week. I have a 3.905 GPA and am interested in majoring in aerospace/aeronautical engineering. I scored 1170 on the SAT and 24 on the ACT. I am taking the SAT 2s and retaking the ACT in December.
My ideal college would be a school that not only combines a high quality eduction with a strong engineering/math & science discipline but also offers an outstanding football program where I can compete and make the biggest impact possible. The combination of these components is more important to me than the classification of the school, although I desire to achieve the highest levels of competition in both. Coming from a family of five children, four of whom will be in college at the same time, the opportunity to maximize scholarship potentials would be of great benefit to me and my family.
