I was inspired to start playing football because I enjoy the brotherhood that comes with the sport. I enjoy the family and team oriented environment. I strive to be the best teammate, leader, supporter, and classmate. I strive to be the best person I can be in the class room and on the field. My experience on the field extends into these positions, offensive guard and tackle, and defensive tackle. Even though I'm a student athlete, academics comes before sports. I always try to do my best in everything I do, I push myself to the extreme, and I'm always ready to compete. I'm also a multi-sport athlete, I do track and field and football. I got 3 medals this season, two ribbons for discus and shot put. I got hurt last year during my sophomore season I broke my foot. It tore me apart and I thought I lost everything because I couldn't play the rest of the season and missed my first playoff game. Instead of giving up I put the work in on my upper body until I could use my legs. I focused on a lot of one legged workouts so i could get at least one of my legs stronger. I still pushed myself to my limits even though I could not go 100%. Now, my foot is fully healed I have been feeling better than ever and I won't back down from a fight from anyone no matter how much bigger they are than me.
