Jacob Roth '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Roth and I am a 6'4 Outside Hitter for HPSTL 17 Orange. I'm currently a junior at Marquette Catholic High School in Alton, IL. I've been playing high level club volleyball for three years and have grown tremendously since my start. I'm a six rotation player that excels in both offense and defense. I have 3.98 GPA while taking taking all honors classes and two AP classes. My extracurriculars include being my Student Council Class President, Interact Club President, National Honors Society, and Breast Cancer Awareness Club.  I started a boys volleyball program from the ground up at my high school and strive to achieve great academics while balancing an elite sport. On the volleyball court, I believe defense/passing is my strong suit and sets me apart from other recruits. I'm athletic and am able to play other position which helps me be able to play six rotations.
