Ever since I played my first down of football in the fifth grade I had a love for the game. It brought me joy running around catching balls and trying not to go down. Ever since 6th grade I was thrown into competition with taller, bigger, and smarter kids. What came along with these challenges was the determination to always succeed and never let up. This drive still flows through my blood like a river before every game. The first few Years of football are always going to be the most important. These years I was taught to work and work and work. In these very precious years is where I developed my drive to be not only the best but the smartest person on the field every game. I will stand by that until I put the cleats down for the very last time. This beautiful game of football has moved me through life and made me the man I am today. I have learned many lessons and things about me during this time. I have learned the importance of being apart of a team. Not one person can win a game, and not one person can loose a game. Everyone needs to be on the same page to succeed. There was a saying that a coach told me that got stuck in my brain, "When struck to the ground there always be a teammate, a brother to bring you back to life." This coach was the person who taught me about the brotherhood that comes with the team." From that point on I valued my team as family even the equipment managers.
My academic goals are quite basic but ones I will reach. I want to put as much work on the field and in the weight room in the classroom. I hope to finish high school with a GPA above a 3, and I want to be in the top 30% of SAT and ACT test scores. As for college I want to graduate with at least a bachelors degree. I will continue to work hard in the class and the field to get to where I want to go.
