Cole Dow '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello future Coach! I am a 6"1 190 lbs Senior QB from Park Ridge, IL. I am a 2 year varsity player and am currently the starting QB at Maine South High School (voted the number one high school football dynasty in Illinois since 2003). Last season I had 9 TDs as a backup (my program is consistently a Senior based offense) and earned academic all conference 2 years in a row. My GPA is a 3.0 and my SAT is 1240.  I am a true dual threat Quarterback. To prepare myself for my Senior season I tried out and won the starting job for the top ranked EFT National 7v7 team (highlight video available on this site).  Also, leading into this season my high school 7v7 team won the championship at the very skilled University of Notre Dame tournament which fielded 64 teams from all over the nation. 

Along with being a leader on the field and in the locker room, I am on the Athletic Council at my school which consists of the top leaders from every sport. I am also a top Honor Caddy at PRCC and take a lot of pride in my work and the relationships I’ve made there.

One thing to know about me and my personality is that I am the most passionate and hardest working player you will meet. I've loved the game of football my whole life and its been my grind since I was young.  Of course I love game time, but I’m just as passionate about practices, meetings, game film and off season training.  I’m truly passionate about every part of the process!  

I am looking for a school that has the right balance of academics and athletics. Ideally, I am looking for a university that has a School of Business.  Football wise, I would like to go to a program that has as much interest in me as I do them and I would like to be able to make an impact as quickly as possible on the field. While I did not start my Junior year, I feel my play on the field thus far in my Senior year has proven that I would be a valuable asset at any level of NCAA football. I would love to speak with you in person and start the process of learning about your program and letting you know more about me.
