My name is Jelena Cicic and as a volleyball player, I've learned many life skills that help me through my daily life. One of my qualities is that I never give up whether on the court or in my daily activities. I like to be positive and confident for myself, teammates and others around me.
My family and I are looking into colleges big and small with different division levels. Choosing a school with a good educational program is important to me. Financial aid and scholarships are important, as I will apply for both athletic and academic scholarships. The field of study I'm interested in is either Physical Therapy or Sports Medicine.
When I'm not training and working hard in volleyball, I'm working hard in school and studying. I'm in AP and accelerated courses at my high school. Other activities I'm involved in are; Serbian Club, Rotary Club and the team manager for the freshman boys volleyball team.
Being active in my Serbian community is important to me. I participate in the Serbian church, folklore traditional dancing and can speak the language.
My goals are to play college volleyball and get a great education. I will represent myself, school and team in a positive way that can Inspire others to be positive and successful as well. I am very competitive and give 110% in everything I do on and off the court. I would be a great addition to a college team and Institution.
