My name is Jameson Purcell and I am a 5”10”/135 lb., 2027 dual threat, left handed quarterback that excels both at the pass and run. I leverage my athleticism, size, and intense QB training to be able to read defenses and make passes or runs based on our scheme and defensive coverages. I am a multisport athlete playing AAU travel basketball for the Full Package Program. My goal is to play for a highly competitive Power 5 Division 1 program that runs a spread offense. I have loved football since I was able to pick up a ball and have always absorbed stats. I am a highly coachable, motivated, and competitive athlete that loves the game.
I was recently ranked Top 10 in the nation on www.qphitlist.com for my age group. I play for the Park Ridge Travel Falcons (www.prtravelfalcons.com) in the competitive Chicagoland Pop Warner Association. My teams have been 2020 Mid America Regional Champions, 2021 State Champion Runner Up, and have competed in the 2020 Pop Warner Super Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The majority of my coaches have played Division 1 football and my offensive coordinator, Sean Price, was a High School All American QB and played QB at Central Michigan under Brian Kelly.
My plan is to play QB at Maine South High School under the leadership of Head Coach Dave Inserra. Maine South is a perennial powerhouse in Illinois (Class 8A / Highest Class in IL), and has 6 State Championships and 3 State Runner Up titles in their history. Maine South has a long history of All State QBs and my goal is to be the next one. My dad is on the Varsity coaching staff at the school.
