Personal Statement

I'm an '08 boy from Winnipeg, Canada. I just started playing football in the summer of 22, so I would say that I'm a little inexperienced. In my first year, I played running back and had nine touchdowns in eight games, averaging about 40–50 yards a game. Keep in mind this is my first year; with more experience, I could play way better and be a better player. Whenever I'm not playing football, I'm either practicing some aspect important to the sport, such as catching, speed, strength, etc. I specialize in speed, evading, and juking.

In school, I do decently well, and I respect my teachers and my classmates. I love doing group projects since I love collaborating with others. My dream is to make it to the big leagues, where I get paid to do something I love doing: football. I know that being recruited to a college or university is really hard, let alone playing professionally. That's why I dedicate my free time to becoming a better player than I was yesterday. I'll try my hardest make it to the top no matter what obstacles come my way

  • Did you know that there is a community-based Tackle Football program offered in your backyard? The Falcons Football Club is located next to the Maginot Arena in Windsor Park and offers programs for youth up to 18 years old. The Falcons have been around for more than 20 years and were previously operated out of the Greendell Park Community Center. In 2016, we became an independent club and took over the newly renovated Art McOuat Football Field and Clubhouse in Windsor Park. Since our primary catchment covers most of the St.Boniface-St.Vital (Bonivital) area, we felt that it was important that we be more centrally located to better serve our community. Our Club also carries on the legacy of the St. Boniface Warriors football club, who's catchment area we inherited. Although our primary sport is Tackle Football, we also support the Flag Football program offered through Football Manitoba (our governing body) who also oversees all football programs in Manitoba. The Falcons Football Club is a non-profit community-based tackle football club with the goal of promoting and developing amateur football in the Bonivital area of Winnipeg. We are always looking to work with individuals and businesses in our community. If you are interested in supporting amateur football, please contact us for more information regarding sponsorship opportunities! The Falcons Football Club is located on Treaty One Territory and on the Homeland of the Métis Nation. We are committed to supporting the many First Nations and Métis families at our Club by implementing the TRC's Calls to Action for Sports and Reconciliation.
