Personal Statement

I am a resilient and motivated middle linebacker about to embark on my senior year at Quince Orchard High School. My journey has been quite a ride. After making the move from Good Counsel High School, a nationally-ranked program, to Quince Orchard, the defending Maryland state champions for Division 4A, I'm ready to bring my exceptional skills and leadership to the Cougar Dome. Despite missing my junior year due to injury, my determination, adaptability, and passion for football set me apart as a player to watch.

My football journey started early, as I established myself as a formidable athlete with the Damascus Cougars and later on Team Adizero in Maryland’s Crab Bowl. That got me noticed and earned me a recruitment offer from Good Counsel. While I contributed there, an injury took me out for my entire junior year. However, my commitment to the game never wavered as I focused on my recovery and continued supporting my team. That year spent studying the game and breaking down film elevated my football IQ, helping me make better decisions on the field.

Now, transitioning to a new school and program, my leadership skills are shining through as I connect with my new teammates. My adaptability lets me thrive in different team dynamics and defensive strategies. Known for my relentless work ethic, I'm dedicated to training and improvement, setting an example for my peers to push themselves.

My senior year goals revolve around contributing to Quince Orchard's continued success. I want to be a dependable leader, using my experiences to motivate and elevate the team's performance. With dreams of playing football at the collegiate level, my dedication to both academics and athletics remains strong.

My move from a nationally-ranked program to a state championship-winning team showcases my hunger for challenges and growth. As I step onto the field for Quince Orchard High School, my determination, versatility, and love for the game are poised to make a significant impact.

Get ready to check out my senior year hustle! I'm super pumped to show off my comeback and all the awesome stuff I'm gonna bring to the next level.
