I am Israela McKenzie. I am 17 years old in my junior year attending Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, MD. I have played basketball since I was in the 4th grade starting off on a recreational league then working my way to playing basketball with high school students while in the 5th grade. When I had my first tryout, the coach told me that I should start with rec. basketball since it was my first time. After playing a season of rec. basketball, I went back to the same coach and turned out that I was one of the best people that was at the tryout. Since I made the team, I have never looked back. I have learned multiple different skills from many coaches. I work on every skill I learn until I master it and then move to the next one and master that one. I work hard in school as much as I do on the court and I am working to improve my GPA. I plan on attending a college that offers either Early Childhood Development or Photography and has a solid basketball team. I may seem as if I am just another student looking for a college to attend and a team to play for but I will work hard to make this the top profile that you come across.
Thank you for your time. Enjoy.
