Personal Statement
My name is Corey Minkoff, and I am a Junior at Quince Orchard high school in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Golf is a huge passion of mine and I work on my game everyday after school so that I can get closer to my goal of one day playing college golf and then maybe turning pro. Understanding that the chances of becoming a professional golfer are very difficult and a lofty goal is the reason that I am also dedicated to my education. That is why before I go to the range or to play I make sure my homework is completed. I am extremely dedicated and strive for perfection. I believe that that my drive and dedication are two of my greatest assets and what has allowed me to excel both on the golf course and in the classroom.
