The 2012 season film comes from a couple of games from this past semester at St. Vincent College in a couple of JV games. The 2011 film comes from only 4 games my senior year, in unfavorable weather conditions, that I was able to play in only because the starter was injured. I was never given a fair chance in high-school to play, but am confident that when given a fair shot to compete, I will take full advantage of it and make a significant difference to my team. I am a quarterback with a good balance of athleticism as a run threat and skill as a passer. I bring the desire for success both on the field and in the classroom. I respect authority and hold strong values.
My biggest acheivement was coming in first place in a 7-on-7 tournament at the Syracuse University Football Camp in the summer of 2010 (my team finished 2nd in 2011). At the start of camp we were put in random teams. The coach in charge of the quarterback drills for the camp pulled all of us aside and stated "I guarantee that the quarterback whose team wins it all, is the best quarterback at this entire camp." I now had a goal. I set out to prove it was me. This attitude was noticed and as a result my team came out on top.
My greatest strength as a player is my ability to read the defense, something I've always naturally understood but continued to develop. As the quarterback I feel my number one duty is to lead my team; Pick them up after a bad play, recognize them after a good one, demand them to play to the best of their ability. I make sure my teammates understand that as long as they do the best of their ability, the guy to their left and right will do the same.
I am open to all opportunites to play regardless of division. I am Psychology major with ambitions to one day own my own business. I have dreamed of playing College football since I was a little kid. As a player in college, I am confident that my work ethic and leadership skills will bring about teamwork and determination amongst the entire team to help every player become the best they can be.
