My name is Dawson Mickley and I am a 10th grader at Emmanuel Christian School and am interested in playing football in college. Although I have never played organized Football in my life, I am very interested in it and practice as much as possible to become better at it so I can play in college and hopefully at the professional level. I am currently involved in Baseball for GABSA (you can find my baseball profile with my same name) and Basketball for my school both are sports I also am good at and practice at.
My main position in Baseball is Catcher, so my leadership skills (which are required to be a Quarterback) are very good and I am always wanting to keep a teammates head up and get my team back to where they should be while having a bad game. I stay humble and always want to do better than my best. As a Catcher, I also have a very good arm and am very accurate on my throws with both a baseball and a football.
My best attributes as a Quarterback are my speed which allow me to excel in elusiveness, my arm which is accurate and strong in throwing power, my toughness which allows me to fight for extra yards and take hits and be a tough and intimidating player on the field despite my small size.
My current weaknesses which I am working to fix are my throwing mechanics, transitioning from baseball to football is tough but I am working to make this transition to maximize my potential.
I promise you won't find another Quarterback like me, my playing style and toughness makes me a different candidate for your team and I am always looking to be the best I possibly can.
My current goals:
200 pounds by end of 2023 Summer
Better mechanics
