Jake Lane '19 Recruiting Profile

What makes me different from other recruits is that I know the difference between saying I'm going to do something, and actually going out and accomplishing it. Yes season stats and 40 yard dash times are important, but what they do not reveal is a man's character. By recruiting me you are not only getting a great STUDENT- athlete, but you are also getting a man who day in and day out will not only drive to make himself better, but also his teammates too. My goal has always been to play college football and will continue to be throughout my high school years. I value the importance of academics because I know I can't play the game I love for ever, but I know what will always be with me is my education. If I get recruited to play at the collegiate level, I not only want the opportunity to play football, but the promise that I will be able to graduate from college with a degree in hand.
