since my freshman year of high school, my swimming career and experiences have been amazing and more than I had ever hoped for. In the 2020 winter season I went all the way to states with my relay team. this year, the 2021 season, was my best to date despite the Covid restrictions and a late start that resulted in a smaller season. during this past season our team reached a new level of success, being named third in the Cape Ann League championships where I personally placed first in the 200 freestyle and second in the 100 breaststroke, but I wouldn't have been able to accomplish it with out my team and my team mates. one of the best things about swimming for me is the team aspect and the fun that we have both in and out of the pool. I love it when a team melds well with each other and its a good mix of fun and hard work because to me that is the best way to get results. outside of the pool I am an active participant in both Boy scouts and Sea Scouts and both of them have been extremely beneficial to my life and my abilities and leadership skills. I am also a class officer for the class of 2022 and have been for two years. In college I want to pursue a nursing degree because it is something that my family has done for a long time and it is also a way for me to give back to those who helped me when I had cancer as a child. I am looking forward to hearing from you as coaches and my college career.
