As a student athlete I have many responsibilities. Although many of them come on the field, my number one responsibility is in the classroom. The next commitment I take very seriously is leadership. I take pride in leading my teammates on the field, in the weight room, and outside of team events. Along with leadership, I work well with others and make sure to maintain a learning mindset through all of my actions. Another priority I have is working to reach my personal goals, the goals set for the team, and the goals coaches set for me as well. Mental toughness & adapting to adversity are other traits I strive to keep as well as build, along with the others. Finally, I find importance in competing. Whether it’s early morning practices, hill runs, or in the weight room. I find it very important to compete for what is right in everything I do. For I believe that you have to compete for what you want or you will never get it.
I firmly believe I will be a good asset, leader, and team member on your team.
Thanks,
Connor Tollison 2021
