Cade McCadams '23 Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement: 

I am a very determined cross country/track and field runner and student.  I always strive to be MY best and I'm always working in all areas to improve MY best.  I'm  very coachable and will work hard to do whatever is asked of me on the field or in the classroom.  

I began my athletics career swimming for a local club team (River City Aquatics)  at the age of 7.   As I got older and in to  JH and HS athletics I started cross training with running and fell in love with the sport!!! I joined my high school cross country team as a freshman and loved it!!  I ran Varsity my first year and even qualified for state as a individual.  This past season, as a sophomore, my whole team qualified for state. It was nice to be able to see all the hard work paying off and the improvements showing from year to year.  This year I received the 110% award presented at our team banquet!!  I was not able to compete in the track and field season last year due to COVID but I am hopeful that this year will be different. 

In the classroom I am determined to do my best and always give 100%. I love to be challenged and learn new things.  

I am always willing and determined to work hard and strive for excellence in all that I do and I think that shows with my performance on and off the field.  I also think that attitude plays a big role in success!!!  I always try to be a positive person and choose kindness in ALL that I do.
