Question 1
My goal as an athlete is to pursue my dreams of playing college football. There are always going to be times when life is going to knock you down, but it's your choice if you want to get back up or not. With the aspirations I have, I'm an aggressive pursuer, and I don't care who I go up against. I can and I will beat the person in front of me. I have been doubted many times as some have told me that my dreams are too lofty or unrealistic. I will achieve my dreams. With me being only a freshman in high school, I am still at the bottom of the mountain. With the 4 years of high school that I have, I see it as an opportunity to continue to improve before I go off to college. This is a really exiting feeling.
Question 2
I understand how important it is to work hard in the classroom. I used to struggle a lot in school, but now I work harder than ever and I have shown that it is possible to excel in the classroom with hard work. It makes me feel accomplished and good about myself. You may have all of the ability in the world to play at a division 1 school but if you can't make good grades you will not be successful. I am not going to let my dreams be crushed by failed grades, and will do whatever it takes. I currently participate in more than 1 sport so I feel that I am a well rounded athlete. When I was 9 years old I tried the sport of wrestling and immediately fell in love with it. I ended up taking home many state medals, 1 state championship medal, and 3 national titles. I have always loved the sport of wrestling and it really helps with my athletic development in football. I work out twice a day and am currently the strongest football player in combined lifts as a freshman. Lastly, I go to church and am a christian. My parents have raised me in church from the time I was born. I was also baptized when I was in 4th grade. My parents have always taught me about having strong morals and values.
