My favorite games to play are the ones you are not supposed to win. In those games, you have to play to your absolute best, and you have to be mentally sharp at all times. As a team, you have to continue to push each other and not let anyone get down. Those are the games that leave you with the best memories. As a player, when my team loses tough games, I know that I grow as a player and I reflect on what choices I could have made. Then I will implement them the next time I play. Coming from a volleyball family, I am surround by volleyball all the time. This has helped my passion grow for volleyball exponentially. Through volleyball, I have learned to be mentally tough and to preserve no matter how great the challange. I push my self not only on the court, but off the court too. I am apart of NHS and Student Leadership Team in school where we strive to help others be successful. I am currently ranked 10th in my graduating class of over 500, and I would like to push to be in the top 5. I will continue to push myself through my academic career in college because my ultimate goal is to become a surgeon. I believe that I would be a great leader on and off the court for your program!
