Carl Watkins '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals of course include earning a degree. I have a passion for sports and broadcasting so I'm looking forward to developing the skill set for a career in sports broadcasting. I do love football, so playing at the collegiate level would be a welcomed opportunity. My work ethic in preparing for games not only allows me to shine on the field but in the classroom as well. 

What makes me a great candidate for any team is that I can play both positions as a full back and defensive tackle which I currently play on our varsity team at this time.  What makes me different from other recruits is my continuous effort to perseverance day to day no matter what obstacles I may face in life daily.  I  bring good energy, motivation and always try to stay in a positive mindset. Outside of the field, I've worked hard to excel in my core classes, participate in community service projects in underserved communities and work part-time as well.
