Daniel Nickel '22 Recruiting Profile

My  name is Daniel Nickel, I'm 6'5" and 300 lbs.  I currently have a 3.05 GPA and plan to graduate high school in May of 2022. My main collegiate goal is to continue my education and play football at the highest level. I dedicate my time 5 days each week training in order to perfect my skills and increase my muscle mass. For my  large size, I am  still explosive off the line and have a very aggressive play style. Even with my dedication to football 5 days a week,  I always manage my time in order to complete my homework and do good in school as well. I have started every varsity game my sophomore and Junior year and was awarded 1st team all conference my junior year and playing most of the season injured I we still honored to receive 1st Team All Conference  this year as well. I have been lucky to have two parents most of my life who have committed me to helping me commit to my passion inside the classroom and of the field. Unfortunately my mother passed away in 2015, but it drives me to keep pushing and to do my best everyday.  Over the years i have been chosen by my teammates on multiple teams to be captain  and I try to be the best leader I can.  I pride myself on my willingness to learn and become the best version  of myself I can be.
