Edward McEntee '16 Recruiting Profile

I want to play football while studying my major, computer science. I am fully dedicated to both. I play hard to win and never give up, even in the face of defeat. I have been playing football since the 8th grade.  As a senior, I am captain of my varsity team and help the coaches with strategies. I have never missed a practice, even during the summers before school starts, or a game.  I am a good student and colleges can see from my transcripts that each year my grades have improved, and in my senior year, continue to challenge myself with AP Stats and Calculus Honors.  I strive for perfection as a team member and, personally,  always give it my all. I want a college coach to improve my game. I have the basics; strength, speed, and determination. I am the perfect slab of clay to be molded by a good coach.  Great Neck is not known for its athletics, but well know scholastically,  and not in a top division, but I know I can do better with the right mentor and look forward to the challenge.  Due to the small number of team members, I am diverse in positions played, having to play both offense and defense and playing the entire game!
