- 2024 Van Wyck Junior High Football (Junior High School)
- Matteo was the starting quarterback for his junior high school team. He showed great leadership in running the offense. He was the fastest player on the team and the coaches utilized his speed whenever they needed a big play. Matteo also has a strong arm but their offense was a more of a run focused offense. Matteo can throw the ball 45 yards in the air. He compiled 10 touchdowns in 5 games as the starting quarterback. It each of those games Matteo played usually only two out of the four quarters as the coach liked to play the second string players when they had a lead. Matteo threw for 2 touchdowns (both 50 yard pass plays) and ran for 8 other touchdowns. For the season (playing usually only 2 quarters a game), Matteo rushed for 400 yards and threw for roughly 250 yards. On the defensive side of the ball, Matteo occasionally played defense as well at cornerback and sometimes safety. The coaches utilized his athleticism on the defense whenever they faced a stronger team that passed the ball more frequently.

- As a 7th grader, Matteo made the high school Freshman baseball team and started in LF. Matteo also played CF for some of the games as well. For the vast majority of the season Matteo lead the team in batting with an average of .340.

- Matteo made the junior high basketball team as a 7th grader and became a starter. He has only been playing basketball for 3 years but his athleticism has enabled him to become quite a good shooter in a very short period of time.
