My name is Anthony DeMatteo and I am a sophomore at Mahopac High School in New York. I am a Pro Style Quarterback who stands at 6'1" 165 Ibs, with a year of Varsity Football experience under my belt. This past season, I split time with our senior Quarterback, rotating every other series. Next coming football season, I will be a full-time starter as a junior. I am very eager to get the opportunity to lead my team in the most positive way possible. I am a multi-sport athlete, participating in Mahopac's baseball and basketball programs, as well. I was lucky enough to have my teammates vote me as captain on both of my High School Baseball and Basketball teams. While I also take part on a summer baseball team, I am already making the effort to sign up for as many College Football Skills Camps as possible for this coming spring and summer. Academically, I have maintained a 94.0 GPA in High School and was also inducted into the National Junior Honor Society in Middle School. I strive to be inducted into our High School's "National Honor Society", and continue to work as hard as I can in the classroom everyday. I know that if I excel in the classroom, there is a better chance that I will be able to compete at a high level in college. To me, there would be no greater honor to be able to participate on a College Football team where I would be both successful and able compete at a high level.
