My goal is to attend a university that is a good fit for me. I am undecided on a major at this time. I know the importance of a great education and the hard work that goes into that. I have basically been training as a student-athlete my whole life. My brother plays Div 1 football. My parents, who both played Division 1 ball, always instilled in me the balance of education and my sport. My dad played in the NFL for 6 years, so that would be a dream of mine also.
As a sophomore, Tom Lemming rated me as a 3star football player. My first offer came from Colorado State as a sophomore. I played D-line my whole life up to this year. My dad, coaches all believed I would be able to have a longer career as an OG. My junior spring I tore my shoulder labrum and had it repaired May 2019. I sat out my junior year 2019. This was devastating for me. I persevered through, worked hard in therapy and built my character to another level. Transitioning from D-line to O-line was a new beginning for me. I have grown to love my position of offensive guard. Learning all the rules on pass and run blocking vs. odd/even fronts becoming a student of the game.
Thank you for taking a look at me for a potential student-athlete at your school.
