Carter Switek '25 Recruiting Profile

As a lifelong multi-sport student athlete I bring a diverse combination of physical and mental skills to the football field.  No matter the sport my coaches would describe me as a very athletic and highly coachable player.  I take pride in being a leader both on and off the field and hold myself to high standards in each.  

Academically I hold a 3.7 GPA and am currently enrolled in AP classes.   As mentioned, I am a multi-sport athlete.  As a youth I played soccer at a borderline elite level.  I have played basketball for nearly a decade now and am currently one of two sophomores on the Orchard Park (Class AA) Varsity basketball team.  I was the only sophomore to play Varsity football this year and am proud to say I started on both sides of the ball.  Additionally, I have trained for and competed in triathlons, road and trail races and even Obstacle Course Racing earning a qualifying spot in the OCR World Championships.

I've loved the game of football for as long as I can remember and have always dreamed of what it would be like to play at the next level and then the next level, and the level after that.  As I continue to work hard in practice, in the weight room and in the classroom, I look forward to building off of my strong sophomore season in an effort to help lead Orchard Park to the State Championship.  Looking beyond high school it is my desire to not only "play" collegiately but to meaningfully contribute to the team.  I am passionate about achieving this goal and am ultra motivated to make this happen.
