My name is Jelani Greene. I am a scholar-athlete currently attending Newfield High School. The positions I play are Wide Receiver and Cornerback for the varsity football team as a starter. I have been a scholar athlete since the ninth grade and will graduate in June 2016. My passion for the game is very strong and I have been playing competitively for ten years. I attended football combines and training facilities to helped me improve my offensive and defensive skills. While playing football I have learned that you have to practice hard and put the time in to improve your skills. I have used that lesson in school studies where I take AP classes and have a 3.3 GPA. My favorite subject is history. During the snow storms I help my senior neighbors dig out their driveways and help them rake their leaves. God willing I plan on playing football on the college level and will work hard to excel both in the classroom and on the field. I was honored for 2014 Prestige Recruits Long Island Wide Receiver MVP and FBU Connecticut Wide Receiver MVP, First Team 2015 All-Long Island Wide Receiver. I have been named to play in the Blue-Grey All American football game in Tampa , Fl in January 2016. My favorite saying is, " Remember when you aren't practicing, someone, somewhere is, and when you two meet, he will defeat you".
