My collegiate goal as a student/athlete is to attend a prestigious college or university, play football, and graduate with a medical degree or educational degree. I would be the right candidate for your program because I have the drive and ambition to excel in the classroom, weight room, and on the field. I understand that without a positive attitude and hard work, talent alone will only get you so far. I take pride in what I do athletically and academically, which is reflected in my 3.8 unweighed. My personal goal is to have a college or university with high academic standards and a highly competitive athletic program. My passion is football, and I love how this sport has taught me how to become a competitor. It's not how hard you hit, but rather sometimes its how hard you get hit and still keep moving forward during my freshman year. I played on all special teams long snapper, extra point, kickoff, and kickoff return. I was a two-way starter on offense, as a tackle and on defense, I played defensive end. My true love is playing defensive end; I love making solid contact and driving the ball carrier into the ground.
Since my inception into sports as a kid, I love the comrade between my teammates and coaches. I plan to use the life lessons that baseball, basketball, and football. Our credo for my school is Faith, Brotherhood, Commitment, and Integrity. My family has provided me with reliable guidance, and they have taught me to be successful by providing tools in the classroom and on the field.
I owe a tremendous amount of my success to my parents and coaches who have helped guide me. I am highly motivated and competitive, but I consider myself a quiet person whose actions speak louder than words. You don't always need to be the most emphatic individual on the team to be a leader. My work ethic in the gym, practice field, and in the classroom is what makes me stand out. The old saying practice makes perfect, so be careful what you practice. This motto sticks to my core. I am confident and believe that my next three years at St. Peter's Boys High School will provide me with a solid foundation academically and athletically. I want to have the ability to attend college or university so I can be successful in my next endeavor in life.
