Sean Burke '16 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete, hard work is all I've ever known. Nothing has ever come easy to me so I know what it's like to have to dedicate time to accomplish something. At a very young age I started playing every sport that I could because I loved the competition. When high school came, I realized that football was what I really loved. That love for competition became a love of the game. On the field, I have fun. I'm constantly the player that's yelling after a big play and trying to keep everyone pumped up. As an athlete I am a leader. I will do what it takes for my team to succeed and I'll enjoy every second of it. As a student, I find that I am similar to how I am on the field. I always stay dedicated, do my work, manage my time well, and put my grades above everything else. This is why I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA and enroll in numerous college level classes, while still performing at a high level athletically. In the classroom I am focused and determined for excellence.
