Preston Elliott '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach, Preston Elliott here and thank you for viewing my profile.  I want to receive a college degree in Business/Accounting while playing football, the game I have played since I was 6 years old.  I strive for excellence in the classroom and on the field. Currently I am taking 4 honors courses and am the starting Varsity QB and punter.   Discipline, motivation and balancing priorities are tools I use everyday to keep me on the path to being a collegiate athlete.  My freshman and sophomore years I was the starting JV QB and was bought up to Varsity for the playoffs where I filled multiple positions on offense and defense.  I am currently the starting Varsity QB all while maintaining a 3.8 GPA.  I am a versatile athlete and have been told I am a "play maker".  I have experience in many positions but stand out as a QB and WR and I am a student of the game.  My time outside of the classroom and field are spent volunteering and supporting community programs.  I am an Eagle Scout which comes with many hours of giving back to my community and being a leader to my peers.

A Business/Accounting degree is the area I plan to study and am willing to leave North Carolina.  The summer of 2014 I was a participant in Teens Westward Bound (TWB) where I traveled from NC to California while camping and seeing our country's historical & patriotic landmarks. We visited 19 states along the way and was the trip of a lifetime.  We have a beautiful country that I enjoyed seeing.
