Tyler Campbell '12 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to play football at the college level, while earning a college degree. To further my dreams I workout and study daily, earning a 3.66 GPA at my high school. I know that college could be a financial hardship on my family, so I work very hard in school, taking some honors and AP classes. My head coach jokes that he is making me a key to the weightroom because I am always there. My regular squat max-out is 560, bench press max-out is 340. My fastest recorded 40 time is a 4.95, but my average is a 5.0. My freshman year in high school I played on JV at noseguard, our team was 9-1, and conference champions. My sophomore year, I played center, starting on JV, and backup on Varsity. Our Jv team was 10-0, conference champions; My junior year, I started at Center and our Varsity team won the conference championship and made it to the NC State playoffs for the third year in the row. My senior season, we won the conference championship for the second time in a row and I made first team All-Conference.  While our coaches like centers to only play 1 position, I enjoy playing defense also. I have not missed a voluntary or mandatory workout or practice in 4 years of high school football. While this registration limits me to 25 selected states, I am open to information from any college.
