Jason Pittman '21 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

My name is Jason Pittman and I am a Junior at West Henderson High School. I am really looking forward to being able to go to a college to get a degree. I have thought about being a lot of different things that I wanted to be when I was growing up. I have narrowed it down to three different careers and degrees that I am interested in. They are some sort of engineering degree, go into law enforcement, or a degree in sports management. To be able to do any of these things, I will need to get a degree from a reputable college. To obtain any of these degrees, I am very interested in exploring opportunities to earn an athletic football scholarship and/or any academic scholarships that can help me meet my goal.

I currently play center on the Varsity offensive line. I have also played left tackle on the offensive line. I like to play the o-line because that is where I feel like I can help my team the most. I can also help protect my teammates from the defense trying to take them down. Football is a team sport so that is why it is important to understand your piece of the puzzle. Personally, my hobbies are spending time with my family, playing baseball, playing basketball, youth group at my church, FCA at my school, and hiking. I am interested in representing a university as an athlete and will not take this opportunity for granted. I look forward to speaking with you and other coaching staff at your school.
