David Wilson '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am a hard working young man who will not stop until the job is done. For me, there are no shortcuts on the field and in the classroom. I have been on the honor roll my entire life. My plan is to pursue football in college to further my education. My goal is to receive my Master's in Psychology and minor in Forensic Science. I am also a part of many ministries at my church, which consist of feeding the homeless and distributing food to low income families. Outside of school and athletics I like to spend quality time with my family and fellowship with my church family. I'm a very outgoing person, I could never let a person go hungry or somebody be mistreated. I was raised to always love and help your neighbors and to give back to the community.  Growing up wasn't always the best of times but if there was one thing my mother taught me it was to never give up and always work hard. I started working to help out my family at a very young age, my grandfather owns a firewood and landscaping business in which I have help. Everything I have learned in my life has translated into my personality and onto the football field, I can be the nicest and easiest person to get along with off the field but when I step between the lines I'm all about business and getting the job done.
