I am looking for a college that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I will pursue a degree in exercise/sports science so that I can help athletes get to peak performance and be the best athletically for their team and self. Technique and tactics are important but I have learned that fitness also plays a very important role in overall athletic abilities. When my playing career is over I see myself as a professional athletic trainer/coach and eventually maybe even coaching. I will be part of the game for life in one way or another. I am not very outspoken but lead by example by playing hard and leaving it all on the field until the final whistle. I know I won't always be the fastest, strongest, most technical player but I am eager, confident in my abilities, and have a drive that will to not allow me to quit and continue to work to be the best for my team. I know this is my greatest strength and what separates me from most on the field.
I didn't expect to make or start on varsity but I tried my best and did whatever was needed for my team. That earned me a starting role on my Varsity team during my freshman year and have been starting ever since. I started soccer when I was 4. Since I've been playing soccer I learned that you can't give up and you have to be confident in your team and yourself no matter what. I have also learned that one must keep training and practicing to be the best for your team and one's self.
